All this while, I have been using Genius mouse with my desktop. The problem with the Genius mouse is the scrolling wheel. It just wouldn't work as I expected it to. If I scroll up or down quickly, it just moved up or down and return to original position. It is irritating when you are rushing to look for something in a long article. I got the Genius mouse new bundled with Genius Comfy KB-21e Scroll keyboard. Interestingly the wheel on the keyboard works very well. So I do not know where Genius went wrong - the design or the little components inside.
At the same time I was using Genius Trackball Traveler 350 with my notebook. However, recently I damaged its cord. So I went shopping for a simple mouse with less damage to my pocket and get the cheapest Logitech which was the Logitech M100r mouse. I actually wanted to buy the cheapest Microsoft mouse but this M100r was cheaper. To my surprise it works really well for that kind of price. Even though it is lighter (feels cheap) compared to the Genius, but the wheel works really well no matter how fast I run the wheel. The size is also big enough for my palm (unlike the smaller mouse which are so common these days which I hate). Therefore it is really good value for money.
